BAYLEE!

The Kearneys finally have a weekend to catch our breath after a really packed spring! Summer is going to be a blink, since I think we have plans for every second... But considering the kids look at the blog books multiple times per week (while stalling bed time), I figured I'd better get some posts done!
The Kearneys welcomed a very special new member, BAYLEE!

We didn't realize that her birthday was February 1st, the day that Byron passed. We searched high and low for a pup and St. George, Utah was literally the only place we could find the perfect fit... (Or really any fit, turns out Golden Retriever puppies are hard to find!) We surprised the kids with a trip, Aidan thought he was going to Utah to see his favorite family on Earth (which he did) and Morgan thought the rest of us drive 9 hours to mountain bike....

I thought blindfolds might freak them out!

Baylee's mommy! Her human owner was super great, learned to surf at Byron Bay. I think this match was in the stars!

And our baby girl!!!

Super nervous for a 9 hour car ride home... She was a champ though!

Of course, out of order. On our way to St. George, Aidan spent the night with his favorite people on Earth. The Crosbys. This family is so special to us, I really don't know what we ever would have done without Stacie and her crew....
Best buddies!

The Crosby's new home is beautiful, as is their view!

This poor girl wasn't put down for weeks on end...

Look at this baby. LOVE!

Our timing was a little off since spring was packed with sports. But luckily, we were able to bring her to most of the fields we lived on... And she was a good "fan."

The number of pictures I have of her is kind of embarrassing... Fairly certain we've taken more pics of her than we did of our human children.

While Morgan and I were in Denver, Aidan and Baylee developed such a sweet friendship.

These two have been inseparable and Aidan does such a good job watching her....

Like watching her growl and get into fights with her food bowl. Luckily, Baylee is here to protect us from that jerk food bowl.

Welcome to the family Baylee. We love you to pieces! (When Ryan isn't gone and you bark all night, that is....)
