More Rainier... Finally!

Please don't take my lack of Rainier posts be an indication of how proud I am of those boys! Finally, here are more pictures of 2012's big adventure...

The Beast

Hiking to Base Camp...

Lovely weather and note the headband, compliments of Uncle Jonny's niece Morgan... This girl's finger knitted gifts made it to the summit!

Even daddy sported the handmade headband.

Base camp view...10,000 feet.

More base camp!

Just me, but this doesn't look relaxing.

The cute little cabin I think they would have liked to have stayed in at Camp Muir.

The little cabin they actually stayed in. Word has it, no rest was to be found before summit!

Bluebird day takes on a whole new meaning up there!

A man and his trusty ax

The boys... Jon, Ryan, Jeff

Such a sweet daddy showing the "Morgan original" at summit. A good luck charm for sure...

My brother, my hero!

Cheers...

This is what happy and relieved looks like!

I've only seen this view out of an airplane. Unbelievable!

The crew!

A much deserved toast! Congratulations gentlemen!!

Aidan and the camera...

Aidan loves the camera and loves capturing life as we live it... Not always glamorous, but the boy does not know how to snap a pic (or more!)

Nightly jam session... (Ryan's going to hate this picture being posted, but hey, I can blame it on Aidan right?)

Ninjago obsession. So what to do, take a picture of it!

Beloved Byron, helping me out in the mopping department.

From the looks of those eyes, this was an early morning self photo session.

Work it boy!

Beware the claw.

Yeah baby! This is what good lookin' looks like!

Too much fun for an early morning shoot!

I had to humor him, right? Post-neighborhood swim-a-thon.

The Kearney ladies...

New Neighborhood Happy Place!

On Friday, we were invited over to our neighbor's pool for some fun. And fun we had!!!! Thank you Carissa, we can't wait to do it again!

Future dermatologist perhaps?

One of these kids is doing his own thing! The darling Hills children and Aidan!

Meanwhile, Tristan and Morgan swam 552 laps... Competition at it's best!

Such fun! Even the moms got in. Well, maybe Carissa did...

Boy talk on the stroll home...

Ultimate Borney

We were so lucky to be invited along for the annual Bordner family reunion in Lake Chelan. Such a blast, many a morning has come since our trip and I wish I was waking up for another day of fun there! Thank you, thank you Bordners!

Training for a marathon isn't too painful when this is your view on your jog... And knowing there was an adult bev and a lovely lake to greet me at the end wasn't too shabby either!

Oh how our vacations have changed! Jeremy had his little gal, Lola strapped to him non-stop, even during an impromptu baseball game..

Misty May and Kerri Walsh have nothing on this beach volleyball crew. Assume the stance Jeremy!

This guy was content forgoing beach antics in favor of endless home building...

Uncle ROY! Always a blast with the extended Bordner crew...

This girl is still tired from the non-stop FUN!

And these two have developed the cutest little friendship. Aidan made me email Kirstin the other day so he could tell her that a.) she's cool and b.) he REALLY likes playing with Ryder.

Boating to dinner is much more fun than driving!

It's so fun in fact, that sometimes you have to break out in dance. Atta girl!

Don't mess with this character.

Or this one! A fun day at Slidewaters!

Morgan taught Ryder how to "finger knit" and he's now developed a love for the craft. These kids make me laugh!

Chelan was a big and little kid's playground. So much to do and all in the sun. So much fun that Payton literally fell asleep standing up on the boat.

After Chelan, we hit up the Tri Cities for some hydroplane fun! We had a birthday party for Ms. Payton, which got a little wild. "It's a lay down party, you don't understand!" That's for you MC!!!

Dancing maybe?

Jeremy taking the moves up a notch!

Uh oh, someone's pooped.

And someone else is REALLY pooped. Don't mind the black eye, that's what happens when boy vs. rock occurs.

Birthday girl and her big brother!

The gang!

Sillies.

We took an evening cruise down the boardwalk and maybe, just maybe were the only people who had music blaring from a stroller. Call me? Maybe?

I finally get a picture of me and the kids and I look like I was in a wrestling match and the kids get silly. Sigh.

Out of order here... Chelan view from our condo. Did we really have to leave?

Oh Lola! Sometimes a girl has got to go, regardless of whether or not she's on her daddy's lap...

Such a fun, fun trip... THANK YOU BORDNERS!
