Interesting Parenting Choices...

There is no way I could be a single mom. I am currently four hours into Ryan's weekend away and I'm really looking forward to my partner in crime returning...

The other reason it's good that I am not a single parent is because I would literally have my children wrapped in bubble wrap. Don't worry, I'd cut out holes so they could be breathe.

And I would never let them do this! And then they would never get to proclaim that this was THE.BEST.MOMENT.EVER!

Even belly flops are awesome to 6 year olds and he can't wait to try again... Oy vey. Boink! That's the sound of another gray hair popping through.

And the biggest Kearney kid of all....

Sunday Funday!

If you are in Boise, you know that it has been HOT this summer... And when I say hot, I mean surface of the sun HOT. But being the outdoor bugs that we are, we've been trying to not let it get us down, hence 7:30 p.m. at the golf course. Who cares, it's summer!

About 12 years ago, I picked up a golf club for the first and last time. Ryan laughed so hard at my swing, I'm certain he peed a little. Girlfriends always suggest, "We should take up golfing!" And I always reply, "You can, I'll watch!" It looks like I'm going to have to get the old bod signed up for some lessons after all... Ryan and the kids are hooked!

What's this the face of? A newly "promoted to competition gymnast" that's what! Did you hear the squeals all the way in Seattle? Yep, thought so.

These boys melt this old lady heart.

Don't let these pictures make you think I actually *played* golf this evening... No, I was reading an informative and important article on the upcoming birth of the Royal baby and learning what a great mom Kim Kardashian is. Ha!

Again, the boys....

It's hard to pay attention for the entire 9 holes. Can't say I blame him!

Only in Boise.

Fourth of July Living Outside aka Camping

Sometimes I give myself a good giggle thinking about the irony of camping... Really, packing up your house to go and live outside? Oh well, we have a blast doing it!

Big Pigg does not disappoint! A little home away from home!

And this girl loves any chance to bust a move in the great outdoors.

Beautiful view and so, so nice to get out of the 100 degree heat in Boise!

I think 153 hours were logged on this dock!

What's this? Brotherly and sisterly love? They took a minute from bickering like an old married couple to share a little love....

Swimming, swimming, swimming... Water logged little peeps!

This is a good picture of Ryan, but what I was really trying to get was a photo of the 8 adults (not a kid in sight) sitting around a t.v. watching Mulan. What the what?

Since we such a safe fourth of July, we didn't want to take any chances on getting hurt on the 5th. Safety first people.

More dock time!

And diving time!

Another fun, fun, fun camping trip goes down in the Kearney history books!

Friday Funday....

I love, love, love my job, sometimes have to pinch myself I have such an amazing gig. But even more so, I love my Friday's off! They are so relaxing and productive, all at the same time. The kids love it too...

Aidan can be found cruising around the neighborhood on his sister's pink electric scooter....

With her flip flops and his spider man p.j.'s. If you can, why not?

And sometimes there is some relaxing on the boat!

With our little neighborhood buddy, Kylee. Do I see a love a blonde haired love connection? Hope so!

And there's some hiking in the foothills outside our front door.

What's that you ask? I do believe that's a road being punched through... As sad as I am to see the loss of some foothills, it will be nice to not have to make 92 turns around the maze that gets you up to the top of the Earth (where our house is).

Beloved Byron Bay... How we love this cat poop eating pooch!

New buddy...

I have a new little bestie. Her name is Summer and we enjoy relaxing by pools, eating cheetos and gossiping about the Real Housewives. Summer enjoys O.C. the best, as for me, how do you pick a favorite?

In other un-related news, Morgan accidentally ate bread that had sesame seeds in it. I repeat, Morgan accidentally ate bread with the seeds-o'-death. Guess what? A tummy ache. THAT'S IT!!!! If I didn't have pink eye right now, I'd be dancing in the streets, kissing babies, dancing shoe-less on cars stopped at traffic lights and high five-ing traffic guards. Further complicating my desire to dance in the streets was that I stayed up all night, nudging Morgan every 15 minutes to see if she was breathing. Pink eye and all. We were a sight for pink eyes. Ha, see, I'm giddy! I don't know what any of this means, but I'll take it!
