Fun with the Bordner Kids!

It's important that Ryan and Jeremy make efforts to keep their bromance alive and well, therefore, they had a little boys night away, along with Joey who was visiting from Seattle! Meanwhile, Kirstin and I were in "Operation Wear Out Children" mode. So a little Jump Time, a little Red Robin and my children are currently sawing logs. A success!
Aidan loves the Bordner ladies! Loves, loves, loves!

What? A t.v. in the floor? Showing a baseball game? Hooray! (I know, weird right?)

La-la-la-la-la Lola. What a sweet, sweet baby girl!

This was right before Aidan declared, "Lola has a crush on me." Oh boy.

These two... I don't even know what to say about these sillies!

See what I mean... Sillies!

And continued...What would we do without these buddies?

Got goats?

We've recently been surrounded by 300 goats! Living up in the foothills, fire is a constant worry, so there are always efforts to get rid of the weeds and brush surrounding our hood. In the past, herbicides have been sprayed, much to the chagrin to all of us who run, hike, walk and play in the hills. So this year, they tried a new idea and I think it was a success! I can't believe how quickly these little buggars absolutely CLEARED the hills of any brush, weeds, etc. Plus the kids LOVED peeking at these little guys every evening!

Camping Season is HERE!

The Kearneys recently purchased a new camping trailer, lovingly named "Big Pig! We love, love, love the great outdoors and I have to say I am pretty thrilled to be sleeping not on a deflated air mattress with two little munchee-chees climbing all over us!
Aidan kept saying he was having "THE. BEST. DAY. EVER!!" And I think I might be the MOST. LUCKY. MOM. EVER!
Keeping it classy with a PBR... Love that silly little goose.

So bizarre to see... Offspring of ours making silly faces and laughing. That's not like Ryan or I?

What? A Kearney laughing a hyena, wide mouth, cackle. Again, bizarre to see a child of mine do such a thing, I am so much more sophisticated, right?
Again with silly faces... Little bugs I love.

We camped right next to a beautiful stream and we had a great time pretending to fish.
Morgan developed a LOVE for fishing... She had a blast and I loved reading my book in the sun (except for every couple of casts when I was designated the "unsnagger." Oh well, books can wait!)

Near our camping spot was this fun pool, filled with natural hot spring water! The kids spent HOURS in this pool and I can't say Ryan or I minded the warm water either!

We have a climber...

And an aeronautical engineer. You can see it, right? Of course that's a space ship! This kids is ALL boy.
The bikes, oh the bikes. They added some adventure to our trip. Especially halfway there when our bike rack fell off. Thank goodness I married Ryan, otherwise, our family would be bikeless right now.
 That's safe.
Little sweet Byron. He has a silly habit in the middle night of finding the kids' stuffed animals downstairs from our playroom and sleeping with them. I think he was so pooped after camping, he couldn't quite wait for nighttime to give the kids' stuffed animals some loving... First camping trip= A HUGE success! We can't wait for more!

Knuckleheads!

Morgan wrapped up her soccer season this Saturday. The team switched from the team name of "Sillybands" (last fall) to "Knuckleheads." Both names are very fitting for this fun little group of gals.
The Knuckleheads went from one win last season to an undefeated season this year! Something clicked and these girls did incredible. Not to mention some new sweet little friendships were made!

Such a great group of girls! We are so lucky...

Sun Valley.... Again!

I love Sun Valley, I really really do! Ryan and I escaped again for a kid-free weekend, filled with lots of hiking, lots of food and adult beverages and per usual when together, lots of laughing.
Beautiful weather, we wouldn't have asked for a better weekend. Thank you Mema and Papa!!!
I like this guy! Weekends like this remind me that I did pretty well for myself in the marriage department!.

Spring time fun!

Spring is here and so is bike riding and outdoor eating, hooray!!!

 The patriarch of this madness...
Goofy... Where would he get that?

Little Gardner!

Aidan is my constant helper... gardening, cooking, baking, you name it, the kid will do it (besides clean his room, that's just too much to ask if you ask him). Here he is showing off the spoils of his labor and ready to get it in the garden!
