Christmas 2015!

Despite our absolute FEAR of developing the flu again, I'm happy to report that it was a healthy, fun and blur of a holiday celebration!
Christmas Eve Evening was spent at the most beautiful church service. Loved it. And look at this good looking crew.
Christmas morning race! I would like to say that Christmas Eve evening found us all in a deep slumber, but that would be lying. No sleep to have been found.
Look at these two guys. How lucky am I?
I really wish I had videotaped when Aidan had opened a Pokemon set from my parents... He absolutely lost it.
And we can't forget that someone turned the big 39 on Christmas Day!!! Even Byron got into the spirit... Party on dawg.
As did a puzzle obsessed Papa Jeff. (This was when we let him take a small break from putting together a basketball hoop in the FRIGID outdoors....
A birthday boy and son snuggle. What a Christmas Season it was!!!

Misc. Fall Fun!!

Yep, you guessed it. I have a contract report due so here's another blog entry. As you can see, contract work has lessened, hence less procrastination blog entries. But don't let the lack of posts mean that we haven't been having fun. It's been a blur of a fall, but such a great time!
Nothing like a trip to the "Birds of Prey" with my favorite 3rd grader and his class....
It's becoming clear why there are less and less volunteer opportunities with Aidan's class. The kids were so well behaved and I didn't need to threaten to feed any of them to vultures like last time. I kid. But seriously, sniff, these kids are getting so big and sweet.
Aidan might be maturing, but I'm not. Photobomb compliments of Mom.
Super fun season of Futsal before winter practices begin. Ummm, year round? What?
Ryan loves, loves, LOVES family picture day. So much so that he preps before the photog arrives.
Just keeping it cool.
WINE GRAB. I knew I loved these ladies. Last Ben Towne Foundation Boise Chapter meeting, big sniffs. But so thrilled for that experience.
Lots and lots of Seahawks watching and some unhappiness. Brings me back to my childhood and my letter writing campaign to get them to "win, so my dad and brother won't be in such bad moods and shout at the t.v." Yes, I'd like to take credit for the eventual Super Bowl entries....
Oh weird. Morgan sitting RIGHT next to Ryan? Weird.
We rented a cabin in McCall for the winter, hooray!!!First trip, a success...
Bedroom view, not bad... Not bad....
Before the massive and massive amounts of snow hit!
No trip to McCall is complete without a trip to the Hamilton's and a snuggle from a big dog....

Not pictured was the massive throw down I received on the ice. Who threw me down? Well, no one. But I couldn't walk right for a week.
Christmas Tree time!
It used to be a trading off tradition to have the kids put the angel at the top of the tree...
Daddy learned the hard way that a) our kids are getting too big to hold over his head and b) the angel tree topper is fragile.
Oops. New tradition needed.
Some ladies and I hosted a carrier drive and had a super fun kick off celebration at Split Rail Winery! www.carrythefuture.org
We also had a FUN visit from Mema and Papa. We know Mema is in town when the kiss marks show up!
And Jeremy celebrated his last birthday in the 30's as only Jeremy could...

And Luke and April entered a dance competition. If the award was given for "most obnoxious" and "most original" (backpack), then we surely would have won....
Big Al's BOWLING EXTRAVAGANZA!
Love that face.....
A Kearney family selfie. Who needs a selfie stick? Those are for babies.

On the left: Before Party Bus and Kuna. On the right: After.... Thanks to Molly for another FUN holiday celebration. Is that what we were celebrating? Regardless, fun.
I get by with a little help from my friends....
Bookie was back!! And we were ALL on our best behavior....
Did you say SNOOP DOGG?
Yes, yes, you did.
Uh yeah, I went to the front row. I loved every second.
And look at those carriers! Yay! Can't wait to get those into the arms of moms and dads fleeing to safety....

If you have to work on Christmas Eve morning, then you'd better have this view!
Christmas Eve afternoon took us to the day shelter to give gifts to the kids... Such fun to play Santa! And stunning to see just how lucky we are....
