Giving Thanks with the Kearneys and Fosseens!

We had a whirlwind of a visit from the Seattle Fosseen and Kirkland Kearneys! It was so, so much fun to have all of the cousins together!

The Fosseens have a new addition! Meet Lady, the boxer/lab pal who is now Baylee's best friend. Baylee has hardly moved since Lady left, there was a lot of wrasslin'!
Nothing says Idaho like a gaggle of kids in the back of a truck.
Thanksgiving feast, the kids table! Ignore the tv on the in the background, it was on mute. But yeah, Idaho.
Two very typical occasions when these guys are together. Zach making everyone laugh and Morgan showing off her ladylike skills.
After dinner led to Kearney/Fosseen Olympics. Not sure who won, actually, it was so fun to watch, I think we all were winners.
See what I mean? Classic!

So, so tired!
Having a puppy means we LIVE on the trails behind our house. As in constantly walking the dog. So Aidan has developed some techniques to make this more entertaining. May I introduce, run-hill-jumping....

Must be close to Christmas if I am seeing this guy in town!
Thanks for the visit cousins!!!! XOXO

October!

How October came and went to fast, I'll never know...
These two... Memories of October past. It feels like yesterday! But then I see these big kids eating the entire fridge in a sitting and it feels like a lifetime ago...
Baylee is beloved, but man, she is weird. She has so many quirks. It's like she was sent from the heavens to fit the "uniqueness" of our family... Lines. She loves to follow lines. Whatever, as long as she gets exercise, I don't care.
Be still my heart. Eloise is here from the Marshall Islands and all of Boise LOVES her!
Oh Eloise, this girl will teach you some tricks!
Such a big congrats to the Glavins. A perfect match of a lovely baby and loving family!
Mema and Papa came to visit to watch some soccer!
Morgan was so excited, she danced the night away...
Molly, Jenny and I threw a fun baby shower to welcome Eloise. Morgan wasn't invited,, but that doesn't mean she didn't take an opportunity to photobomb.
Molly already trying to recruit Eloise for our future dance parties... She's going to LOVE Forresters someday with us old gals...
And then it was Halloween! Complete with MC Hammer and Kylo Ren. Porter wins coolest kid award with that costume.
And two princesses....
They thought it was funny and ironic to be pre
No Halloween is complete without a stop at the Dolly's pad.
And she didn't disappoint!
See? I come by my weirdness honestly.
Ominous Kylo Ren, ready to get some candy for his mama!
And final tournament of the year! What a fun season it was! So much fun to watch these boys grow...

So, so proud of our buddy. He plays so hard!

And throw in a quick Head and the Heart concert for Ry and I. So, so good. Although both of us looked at each other at the end and said we should quit our jobs and be "cool" like them. Stay tuned!*haha!*
End of the year soccer party with U13 Nero! Antics galore. Morgan has found her tribe.
Love this baby girl, as evidenced by the 1 billion pictures on my phone of her taken by the kids.
This kid!!! How big is he???? Ryder got to help us surprise his dad for his 40th birthday celebration. Ryder asked where Morgan was because he'd love to hear her talk and talk and talk and talk. He knows our girl!

Maroon 5!

After Disneyland and ANOTHER soccer tournament for both kids... We hit a Maroon 5 concert. Tired, yes! Worth it, absolutely!

Love, love, love spending time with this girl.... Does this girl like "Concert Sarah?" Nope. Apparently she hasn't developed an appreciation for my moves yet. Oh she will, yes, she will...
And we even got to run into the most beloved Mia! Win!
As terrible as the acoustics are in Taco Bell Arena, Adam managed to put on a pretty great show!
It's like she never stops.... Where oh where does she get this energy?
First *big* concert is a wrap!

Aidan's Turn!

Aidan had his turn this weekend and played in his first competitive tournament. It's been a little intimidating playing with a whole new team of boys, but by the end of the tournament, we started to see that tenacious little guy we have come to know and love. He had some great plays and we were so, so proud of him. He works so hard and it's paying off!
Of course I'm biased, but I think this is a pretty incredible group of kids! So talented and hard working!
Looking forward to many more of years of cheering on 2007 RUID!

Did someone say Disneyland???

Aidan has been talking about and BEGGING, I mean, BEGGING to go to Disneyland for quite a while. Ryan loves crowds and parades, so we knew this would be a good fit, ha! He was a trooper and we are very proud of him! Anyway, after Aidan's last soccer game, we put the tickets in the dishwasher, demanded Aidan unload it and then made them pack their bags as soon as they could and we were off!

Our last day there, after Ryan had left for work in Las Vegas, the kids and I hit Huntington Beach and had a blast!
Beach bunnies!
Anyone want a wrap? Who wants a wrap? Wrap making station created in hotel room after 14 hours of walking, walking, walking....
Yes, yes, I DID beat the whole family at Astro Blasters.
This picture will always crack me up. We asked a lady, who was taking pictures of her child to take our picture. She said no. WHO SAYS NO? Seriously? No? We are in Disneyland weirdo. Luckily, another woman witnessed that and came to our rescue and took our picture. Kids, don't turn out like the first lady, be the second lady.

He's happy, I swear! Aidan beamed the entire trip.
A little swingin' around Disney. Not pictured is the 5 billion times the Kearneys rode California Screaming. Turns out we like rollercoasters!
And my baby brother and family were there! Second surprise! Apparently great minds think alike and this was a surprise for all of us. Winning dad of the year award is my brother wearing his daughter's backpack, covered in cats with the statement, "Cats are everything." Yes, Ty, they are.
A little space mountain and Star Wars to start out the fun!
This kid.

Morgan got pulled into a street performance.
California Adventure was my favorite and not just because of the beer stands. Beer stands? Yes, it was a game changer!

These two!

We loved Tower of Terror. Girl behind us hated it. Poor kid.

Have to love the action cams!

On the Teacups, only because we felt like we "should."

Because if you can wear your ice cream you should.

A lego store? Um, yes please says Aidan!
A fun family adventure we will never forget!
