Fall Flings!

A lot of soccer was played, but not a lot of pictures were taken... Partially due to a phone/camera that was of the rotary era and partially because I'm lazy.
But I did snap these photos of our "all star" playing in the end of the season all star game. See, I wasn't loosely tossing that "all star" term around.
Aidan had an incredible season. The boy has wheels! And footwork! And a really cute smile! (ok, I'm off track now)
And he had the COOLEST coach... (Ryan). My kids are so lucky....
Check out this end of the year prize! How cool are these photos? We are beyond lucky to have a super-star photographer mom on our team....
And for halloween, more soccer! Morgan was a zombie soccer player and Aidan was Leo Messi. Pre-trick or treating at Grandma Dolly's condo!
I'm certain none of us were expecting THIS on the other side of the door!
I told you Boise got more exciting when this little lady moved to town!
After grandma's, we headed to the neighborhood celebration.
The amount of candy collected was insane. And now so is my waistline. Thanks a lot!

But I somewhat maintained good Halloween behavior since I had a half marathon to hobble in the next day. And since training was minimal (or non-existant), I figured I'd better at least go to bed early.

"Caution: Runners Ahead" made me giggle on the course. Be cautious around runners, we are a fierce-some crew.
I finished in one piece. 7th place in my old lady bracket. Getting older has it's privileges.
This is what a lack of training, too much sugar, FREEZING cold temps and too many hills looks like at mile 11. Not pretty folks, not pretty at all.

Ben Towne Foundation Boise Chapter held it's first annual BIG event, "An Evening with Ben Towne Foundation." And what an event it was... It was a beautiful evening and so thrilling to see the movement grow and Boise's support! Even Grandma Dolly came along for the fun.
The Kearneys!

The weather up here...

It's rare, but I have been known to grumble... Why do we live up such a loonnnnggggg hill?
But after every grumbling, I somehow go out our front door to this view.
Seriously, Idaho? Can you get any prettier? And suddenly a mile trek upwards isn't such an inconvenience after all!
And in other news at the top of the hill... Kitchen remodel is underway!!! HOORAY!
