4th of July Weekend!!!!

Prior to loading up the big pig and hitting the mountains for three days of camping fun, we headed to the boat for a relaxing evening. Just what this girl needed after a bonkers week!
8 1/2 year little man. Where is the time going???

Love, love, love these evenings on the lake!!!

And these three crazy peeps!
Upper Payette Lake did not disappoint with it's peace and beauty! It also was a titch nice to be out of 108 degree temps and be in the mid-80's...

I think even Byron enjoyed himself. Not even phased by the deer walking through our campsite at all hours.

No trip to McCall is complete without a spin up the chair lift for some mountain biking.
New bike, oh so nice!

The ladies of Brundage!

Family selfie, cheers!

Look at these two!!! And this view!

Proof that I exist!!! I was on this trip!
Feelin' hot, hot, hot at this point...

Annnnnddddd, moments before we came across the gentleman who impaled himself on a stick. No big deal. Ryan raced ahead to get help, while I called 911. Don't worry, I gave lots of medical advice from a distance. I mean, c'mon, I work at a hospital. I'm practically a doctor. Just kidding, I stayed about 25 yards away while barking orders. Homegirl isn't a fan of blood.
Aw BIG PIG and the truck. Official Idahoans. Not pictured: McCall crawling, and I mean CRAWLING with college co-eds wearing pants up to their armpits. C'mon kids. And Payette lake so filled with aforementioned college kids. The lake was so full, I swear you couldn't see water.

Also, not pictured. Taking our kids to Lardo's to watch the women's World Cup and the entire place chanting USA, USA, USA. Morgan and Aidan thought they had died and gone to soccer heaven. Dreams were concocted regarding Morgan's future plans to play on a World Cup team with her cousin Cassie. Fun times ahead!

The San Francisco Treat!!!

Ryan and Jed surprised Laura and I with a girl's trip and San Francisco was the winner winner chicken dinner!
A Two Hour Layover = Wine and questionable purchases....
Laura's brother and sister-in-law graciously opened their Lower Pacific Heights home to us Boise, Idaho ladies.... Laura and I call it Lower Pac Heights because we're now pretty much locals... aka we got lost a lot and to learn the lingo, like really lost...
Full House anyone?
Sapporo and a pedi. Yes please!
I was absolutely horrible in the picture taking department, horrible! But I was too busy eating the most amazing foods and drinking the MOST amazing bevs. My belly will never be the same.... Mikkellers was this super fantastic bar we went to. Ryan would have LOVED this shirt. I asked the bartender ALL about the shirt, even had the bartender hold it up so I could snap a picture (why?). Did I buy the shirt? No, no I did not. I forgot to. Awesome.
No Ms. Guidice, the Golden Gate bridge is NOT made out of gold. Spectacular none the less. And 75 degrees while Boise was 106. Uh, okay.
Mr. Jim and Ms. Laura!
Laura and I hiked and I mean HIKED to get to this marina to have the very best, most insanely best coffee I have ever had. Philz, you stole my heart. My phone told me we climbed 68 flights of stairs given the hills to and fro. Completely worth it!
Alcatraz! We didn't tour it but I do a love a good jail/prison these days.... I'm becoming quite the connoisseur. For work, not pleasure.

Flag and Father's Day!!!!

Two years to 40!! Bring it...
So a night out with sugared up kids is just what the dr. ordered after a long weekend of camping!

Food dye IS good for you....
Followed a day later by a very special "princess" party hosted by the Dolly Llama....

Three generations of craziness....
Followed by a hula hooping contest (which I lost, by a lot!)
Followed by a SURPRISE trip to SV to celebrate the world's greatest father!
Lots of mountain biking with such gorgeous scenery!
And snack breaks.
Followed by hot springs!
And then ice skating... What doesn't SV have?
And then there was some bowling! I don't there was much we didn't do this trip!
And lots and lots of pizza. If you have certain food allergies, pizza places are the BEST!
We let the kids get soda, little did we know that Aidan was hitting the caffeinated variety.
The show he put on was hilarious!
And very rascally.
Morgan doesn't need caffeine to get a little loco...
On our way out of town, we hit a pump track and tried to break our backs.
The kids were hooked!!!
And to say thank you for a fun weekend, made a nice little batch of cookies for Mr. Daddio....
And we even had a live performance. I'm not quite sure what this was.... But it was good!
Happy Father's Day to the best dad in the world! We are lucky beyond measure!!!
