Oh Stanley!

After Tahoe, it was back to Idaho and we headed up to the Sawtooths to Stanley! Not pictured is the 35 children we were with (and their parents). The sheer number of kids made a group picture impossible! But fun it was!
Aidan's car sickness means the ladies get the back seat...
Yes, my daughter has acrylic nails. Yes, I need my head checked. Don't worry, they didn't last long!

It's too bad Redfish Lake is so ugly.
As is this lake, can't remember the name. But gorgeous it was!

And Baylee loved an after hike swim!
Gaggle o' hikers!

And gaggle o' kids.
Cute Meredith!
Lots of riverside games!

This view just really never gets old!

Party time! I think we all slept for a week straight afterward....
We came back a day before everyone else to help celebrate the 4th of July with this gal. But we were all in bed by 8 p.m. given our week of too much fun!

Until 2018 Stanley!

Tahoe or BUST!

In order to celebrate the end of multiple Kearney eras (kids' last year at Sage International and my last year in the 30's *gulp*), we hit the road for a week of camping with friends and then it was onto Lake Tahoe for a week of camping with just us!
Last day of school called for a surprise date with Aidan and I to the movies!

This blue eyed love is headed for 5th grade next year!! How did that happen?
Morgan got a new camera (thanks to Hamiltons), so you'll notice that all of the good pictures are credit to her!
Eloise makes camping look so easy!

And her big brother makes camping so, so fun!

After leaving Miracle Hot Springs, we headed to Tahoe. Why has it taken me 40 years to get to Tahoe? Stunning!
This was the view from our campsite, it just didn't get old!

But if you are headed to Tahoe, don't take your dog. Having a water dog, we thought it was a no-brainer to bring Baylee. Sadly, not too many dog friendly beaches to be found. With record high water levels, it made it even trickier!

Broken record alert, the photos are out of order. But after the level 10 argument Ryan and I just had about the issues of mac vs. pc, we're just going to go with it. And just be satisfied that no one filed for divorce after that broken record argument. Married bliss, I tell you.

Boone didn't come to Tahoe with us, but we wish he had.
Road tripping!
And then this! Not pictured: Aidan throwing up and then almost passing out. Also not pictured: 110 degree Nevada heat. Fun!
Prior to almost passing out in aforementioned heat, the kids had the strength to make sun-shadow-eye-balls.

But then we made it!
First morning there, we headed out for a hike of Emerald Bay State Park where we were camping.
And funny story, ran into a bear! (Not funny.) Big bear and friend blocking our route back to campsite. Some may say development is bad, but we were able to uber out of there, so I'm going to call this a win.

Ryan, Morgan and Aidan parasailing! Such fun!

Ryan taught the kids how to gamble.

And I quote Ryan, "If I teach these kids one things as their dad it will be how to gamble." Good, good.
Second verse, same as the first! Flat tire number 2 on the way home. In the Nevada heat no less!
A trip to Les Schwab in Winnemucca caught the fact that we were quickly bound for flat tire number 3. But we did find Uncle Jonny's product on display.

A great trip celebrating great things. Looking forward to the era ahead!
