7 is HEAVEN!

Our sweet little buddy turned 7 this week! Please enjoy the out of order photo montage...
I thought it would be appropriate to start out a little picture of Aidan in utero. Some people get beautiful pregnancy pics. I choose to dress up in my favorite Jane Fonda attire and let 'er rip.
Secrets at this age included, "Digger, digger, Red Robin."
Bill Nye the Science Guy.
Such a common occurrence at our house....

When we camp, we let it all hang out, including our guts.

Hiking with Papa!

Daddy's #1 Fan!

Sometimes I like dress chubby babies in rooster costumes and giggle.

A happier baby, with a titch of grumpy old man, does not exist...

It's hard to give a natural smile when your mom has fed you massive amounts of msg and food dye in order to bribe you to like skiing.
A proud pre-schooler!
Chuck E. Cheese birthday fun.
This boy loves soccer....
And all of his cousins!
And baking (for real).
And gardening...
And making his sister laugh...
And Leaf Man house making....
And Christmas, how this boy LOVES Christmas!
And shirtless Easter s'more eating...
And sling shotting.... It's been a busy 7 years!

Aidan has treated us with many different "looks" throughout the year!
There was the "cape" phase.
And then just the "tough guy" look.
Which sometimes came in shirtless/Trica headband twist.
And there was the hall sleeping, with activities...
We all enjoyed the Jake and the Neverland pirates get up. Although, personally I thought he looked more like Bruce Springsteen.
And the "pants optional" phase. This was a long lasting one....
This boy has been an edible one...
And quite the superhero (again with the tough guy face).
This was a really common look during early eating adventures... I almost invested in a pressure washer.
Tonsil out lego making...
And the most sensitive boy we could imagine. Here he is making sure that we celebrated by mom, Grandma Vicky, at Dios de los Muertos, honoring those who have passed...
One happy guy at Wallowa Lake!
And he LOVED his Papa Bob!

Which brings us to our current celebration.... Dinner out!

And then to a Steelheads game!

Daddy did not disappoint in his ticket purchasing abilities....

Present unwrapping MADNESS!
The excitement of it all was hard to contain....
Birthday boy!

Words can't describe what a sweet, athletic, fun-loving, giggly, sensitive little boy our Aidan has become. These past 7 years have been the best of our lives and we are so thankful for this gift of a crazy filled, fun loving, little boy!

A Winning Weekend!!!

Last weekend was a very successful weekend for the Kearneys....

Morgan got THIRD place at her gymnastics meet. One would think I would have better pictures of the event, but that thought would be wrong. We are so proud of this little mon-chee-chee.

Then we decided to bribe the football gods with some cake.... It worked!

Being a fellow Western Washingtoner, Heather takes her Seahawks seriously. But as our good friends at Bud Light have taught us, "it's only weird if it doesn't work."

Morgan agrees. Who says a BSU snuggie isn't cool? Thanks Glavins!

Aidan spent the game in his most favorite spot.

Who's got two thumbs and rocks a BSU snuggie like a baller? This guy.

Some of the celebrators had to the hit the road after the big win, turns out, they are Bronco fans and couldn't handle our smack talk. We are a rough crowd.
I adore the Skene kids and I think they adore our playroom (aka disaster area of toys). This was when Drew was encouraging the kids to "go ahead and shoot me in the eye." Sweet boy sure does believe in the power of the Nerf protective eye wear.
