Winter Wonderland.....

In case you were looking for the Kearneys this winter... Sorry, but we were in McCall. Every.Single.Spare.Second. For once in our lives, we had really good luck. The weather could not have been more perfect. Perfect, powder days and super quiet nights in the cabin. Such fun!
Random picture... But Morgan informed recently she had NEVER had a donut. Not okay. I whipped these babies up one night after soccer and they were gone by morning. I'd say she likes donuts!
Back to McCall... So much fun to ski as a family.
And they can officially outski their dear old mum.
When I grow up, I want to be just like Morgan. Proving once again, there is NOTHING this girl can't do. Snowboard? Of course she can!

My pink hat made a lot of appearances this winter. Going to bed every night with a wet head plus ski helmut= scary sight.
Girls ski day. No boys allowed.
On a rare night in les bois. Sleeping with buddies. Goodness, his boy gets my heart to swell.
And makes my heart race with his skiing daredevilness....

The kids had a mid-winter break and the skiing wasn't optimal a couple of the days. So snowshoeing to a hot spring was in order! The kids loved it and were such good sports.... Photobomb credit: Morgan.
The pink hat also likes hotsprings. But Morgan doesn't.

A tired skier deserves a little shuga.

Morgan had a friend up for a weekend of fun!

And Aidan had a sleepover with Sean! Mid-winter break with another Sage family. So much fun to ski together! Luckily for these boys, there was an impressive igloo behind the cabin.
If you can figure out what these guys are doing, let me know. I'm still wondering...

Stellar parent-teacher conferences deserve a trip to Blue Cow. I'm not sure how I got such good students, but I'll take it! Proud parents!

This went down as a rough day. But a day that ends in getting buried in lots of powder can't be that bad, can it?
Sorry retirement account, I withdrew you and spent you at Smokeys. Surprised my children didn't turn into a rice krispie treat. They certainly attempted to do just that.
Our favorite Cougar Karen came up for turns and giggles. We had a great time! Looking forward to Mountain Madness 2017 with this gal.
Kearneys got a selfie stick. #nailedit
A long day on the slopes deserves a nice glass of wine. The sparkling, apple juice kind.
The Glavins helped us ring in the New Year. Sadly, I was too busy drinking my body weight in their wine to take many pictures. But we did play Bean Boozled. And Ryan's breath DID smell like skunk for two days. Intense.

News Years Tubing! Also known as coldest day ever.

More Bean Boozled. Who came up with this game? Barf flavored jelly beans. What were they thinking?

 Dash and Bogey wrasslin'.
The sweet, sweet cabin. Good memories made!
And luckily there was enough snow for the boys to have their one day of paradise! I always hope that the weather cooperates and Ryan gets this day. The staggering amount of hours he has put into teaching our kids to ski, carrying toddlers over his shoulder in full ski garb, listening to the moaning of being cold and on and on and on, makes him so deserving to get this ONE day a year!

Meanwhile... Where does she get this stuff?

Anytime they are serving a PBR at a bar made out of snow... I'm there!

Pictures out of order... What? This was the great big vodka taste test. We've been running all guests through this taste test. I won't tell you what has been winning, but your pocket book will thank you!

Backcountry skiing, minus the cat and minus my sanity. I'm a worrier, what can I say?

Thank you McCall for a pretty incredible ski season. We will be back!
