Ryan was on "kid duty" for most of the weekend, so when I got home on Sunday from work responsibilities on Sunday, I scooped the kids up and took them to run some errands. Unfortunately, one of those errands required me to park under a carport, which was WAY too short for our car top carrier. So needless to say, like any idiot would do, I tried to park there and got stuck! Not just kind of stuck, but stuck-stuck. Like the kind of stuck where the whole carport was going to fall apart if I moved the car one more inch. So I called my knight in shining armor he was there within 10 minutes to unhook the carrier so I could pull out. Seriously, what would I do without him? Thank you Ryan for realizing and appreciating the fact that my strengths do not include anything to do with depth perception, technology, putting things together, reading directions or organization and for not getting mad at me when my deficits become obvious!

Coffee shop photo shoot
While waiting for Ceramica to open this morning, the kids and I enjoyed some beverages over at Moxie Java and an impromptu photo shoot ensued. (Anything to keep these wild little bugs entertained!) Here's what we got. On another note, I thought we had hit an important milestone today, but I was sadly mistaken. I attempted to get my workout done WITH the kids! My intentions were a run on the Greenbelt while the kids rode their bikes. If you consider stopping every two feet to look at the diggers doing construction, stopping to take off a 3 year old's boots to kiss two boo-boos on his feet, and then carrying a 3 year old on your shoulders, while he is wearing your sunglasses and pushing his bicycle is a workout, then mission accomplished. I'd be lying if I said my heart rate got over 90, so let's just say it was a nice way to spend some time with my two favorite goof-balls!
I don't why I ask continue to ask why he does this in every picture, but for some reason, I magically think that he's going to do a nice smile in a picture with his mommy...
Not too shabby of a picture taken by a 3 year old!
Again with the droopy eyes...
Oh look, sister's turn to try out the droopy eyes. We are a very original family when it comes to silly faces.

Spring has Sprung....
So those who know us well, will understand that the next couple of months are considered "clothing optional" in Aidan's book... There you have it, all who attempt to visit us have been warned!
This is Aidan's "Hello Ladies" pose. My favorite was when he was in the front yard, cruising the 'hood on his plasma car, sans clothes. Once again, I have to ask, where is this kid's mother? I'm sure the neighbors are sad their entertainment is moving out of the rental in a few short weeks!!

Oh Mexico, It Sounds So Simple, I Just Got To Go....
Ryan and I just got back from one of the most relaxing vacations I have ever been on... You know you're rested when you can't sleep one of the nights because you've simply had enough... We missed our little bugs like crazy, but it was fun for us to have a break from work and responsibility with each other! Thanks Mr. Kearney for a fantastic vacation! (When can we go back?)
Our resort had a small, private beach where we we had a blast playing in the waves, snorkeling and enjoying the heat!
Our view at lunch every day. Seriously, what am I going to do tomorrow when no one makes my lunch??
We took a break from the sun and sand to go to the Puerta Vallarta Zoo. It was about a mile from our resort and well worth the trip! Never before have I been able to feed exotic animals! It was kind of intimidating, but really cool. This is my buddy, the giraffe.
A big nerd by the pool. I read 3 1/2 books while on this trip. Another sign it was a relaxing vacation!
Sorry these are out of order. I wish you could have seen Ryan jump when this camel got right up in his face looking for food. I know that I jumped at least 20 feet back...
The pool and swim-up bar where oh - so - many hours were spent...
Guess what we FINALLY bought??
A new house!!! We are ecstatic! It was really hard for us to make the decision to sell our last home, but when we decided to purchase this house, we knew we had made the right decision. (p.s. These pictures are from the real estate listing website, so it's not our furniture. Once we are living there, imagine about oh, about half the furniture!)
The new house!
Why yes, that is a kegerator, beer fridge and dishwasher downstairs... My favorite part of the house! Although, I think we are going to need to put a keg of O'Douls in there once the kids become teenagers.
Upstairs living room.
