Summer, summer, summer time!

I do not even know what happened this summer so getting the blog caught up is going to lead to a lot of, "oh yeah, we did do that!" It was a blur. A fun, crazy, busy, giggly blur.

 See? A lot of giggling.

And a lot of teeth falling out of heads.

And I did a lot of mountain biking.... And a lot of falling. This little number was actually the result of me taking the bike off of the ceiling rack in our garage. Awesome.
Carissa snapped this view when our ride was almost over and we were almost back to my house. For real. How pretty is that?
And we had two, yes TWO visits from one of my most favorite girls on earth, Noelle!

 Cousin hike.

And then this lady moved to town. Boise, did you notice things got more entertaining at the end of June. A huge and sincere thank you to all of the kind strangers my grandma frequently gets directions from.
 And there has been golf.
Feeling lucky to have this view at the bottom of our hill...
Who is this kid? Where is my baby? I know, I sound like a broken record, but seriously!
Oh this impish little boy, my heart is outside the old wrinkled, sun damaged bod.
Fourth of July weekend.... Retirement community style. No kidding, it was a blast!

In between Fourth of July festivities, we unpacked my grandma's condo. To say there were some giggles would be an understatement. If you can figure out why she has an Aquafina bottle filled with "coconut rum," then you my friend are seeing eye to eye with this old gal...
Oh she's going to be so mad for me posting this picture. Bathing beauty....

We took a long break from packing and biked to the big party in Ann Morrison park. Street performers, oh yes please. Both my kids gave me the evil eye when I made a motion to try out some moves.

Watch out Park View, there's a tough one hanging around...

The retirement pool saw a lot of action on the 4th... But our kids loved having other kids to play with....
If you have ever been in Boise for the 4th, you have seen the fantastic show they put on. We literally had FRONT row seats, as in right in front of our faces.
The weekend after the retirement party, we had to continue our love of fireworks at the Glavins.
We always know we can get a fantastic glass of wine there!

Our kids have literally lived in this pool this summer. I've been searching the internet for floating beds so they can just sleep there, no luck.
