I don't even have an excuse, so I won't bother all my loyal fan(s) (okay, Mema) with details as to why I haven't updated this guy in a while... Partially, it's due to the swim my phone took over a weekend camping trip with my parents. Okay, I lied, there's my excuse. But anyway, many pictures were lost in the unfortunate incident I'll call "cooler-gate." Aidan, I'm not blaming you, but....
Anyway, another fantastic summer goes down in the books! Ryan took the kids on a long vacation sans mommy to visit Seattle and Ocean Shores and then I met up to celebrate my BABY BROTHER'S WEDDING!!!!! The downside of a full time job-gig is worrying about vacation time, so I had to miss the first part of the family's vacation. But don't cry for me Argentina, as sad as I was to miss quality time with the family, I managed to have a wonderful time with girlfriends. I had a to-do list the size of my leg, but all that was accomplished was a couple of yoga classes and a LOT of happy hours. It was a happy week...
I'm surprised this guy wasn't strapped to our car on our trip back to Idaho... He stole a piece of our families hearts!
Okay, so I'm going to wing it on the rest of these pictures as to what's going on because as they were being taken, I was either a.) at work or b.) eating bacon shaped into french fries (they are called appetizers, people) and drinking foofy cocktails.
I did miss that face!
Hmmm... I don't know. This was just on my computer. I'm assuming Ryan took it?
HA, just kidding, now I see the copyright in the corner. 11 years of marriage and I still overestimate his talents, what a marriage!
Ryan surprised the kids with a Sounders game. He really is the best dad ever! Although, we told the kids there was a surprise a week or two before the trip. It turns out our children have overactive imaginations. I think an African safari was guessed as to what the surprise was. Ummm, no.
But they were happy none the less to hit the game with their cousins. Cody is the one in the mask. I can proudly say we purchased that for him. I have to admit, I think that boy and I see eye to eye. Wear a mask, why the heck not?
And get your hair painted?
Coolest thing ever? Oh yeah!
Pretty sure Zach is taller than me. I know, insane that someone would be taller than this 5'4" beast.
Rooting, rooting!!!!
And it's a win for the Sounders!!!!
Relaxing at the Fosseens. And so excited that eating paper was necessary. This was quite the party!
So much so, homeboy was out minutes after leaving!
And back to the Shores. Sorry these pictures are out of order. But let's not major in the minors.
I think Ryan and Jimbo hit the golf course for some boy time. Probably needed after a week with the minis.
Happy, happy kids! And Mema!
Who swims in the cold Pacific Ocean on a 60 degree day? Morgan does! Proving once again, she has Foster genes. Somehow they missed me.
Pretty time!
And the little buddy!!!
