Part Deux….

And then it was time to hit the Ocean with Mema and Papa! Such fun to get to spend time where Ryan had family time as a kid!!!

Internal magnet was again activated and Morgan found her happy place by daddy's side!
I could get used to this view!
Everyone enjoying the beach, while Ryan iced his arm from Bee Attack 2015.
The situation got a little dire...

But Popeye the Sailor man persevered….

 These two!
 Treasure hunting was fantastic!
 And so was this girl!
 Posing like bosses.

 Owning the world, this girl!
What the what?!? Papa in the KITCHEN! Re-heated taco meat for all! Sorry Jimmy, but I just have to dig when I can, since I give ample material in the digging department as well!

This face is the face of caffeine. Or sugar. Or maybe just high on life with his beloved fam.
Bee Attack hit Ryan and I while berry picking on Mercer Island. I though I had escaped the swelling…  Until I woke up to THIS!
Yow! Bee 1, Sarah 0. This swelling went on and on and believe it or not, it actually got worse than this.
But I had beautiful nature to distract me...
Beautiful as in bird poop. I knew our kids were from Idaho when they saw the seagulls and said, "I thought seagulls lived at the dump?"
No trip to OC is complete without the go-karts.
And apparently me taking pictures of a person I don't know. But the kid looks happy?
Mema and Aidan on the slick track!
 Beautiful Morgan and beautiful view!

 A very accurate family picture!
 Mema and her crew!
And then the Fosseens came and Aidan was in Cody heaven. These two are just too cute!
 And Morgan skim-boarded for hours.
 While the kids played!
 More spike ball!

Only one picture of Kirkland, but only one night was spent there. View from Jim and Beth's place doesn't disappoint. What also didn't disappoint was driving by Hope Solo's house right there in the 'hood and realizing that Morgan's baby shower was in that house. Morgan was IN HOPE SOLO'S house!!!! Granted when she was 3 months, but she was EXCITED!

Tour of the Pacific Northwest Part Uno….

The list of where we DIDN'T go in the Pacific Northwest would be much shorter than the list of where we went… Hence the "parts" to this post! First stop, Mercer Island to visit Aunt Shannon and her fun little crew!!!

 Early morning snacking with Miller….
Followed by early morning antics with Mema!
And lots and lots of playing with cousins!
 And a little graffiti...
The Kearneys have found a spike ball obsession…
This is my kind of boating...

You forget just how gorgeous Seattle is until you have a blue sky day on the lake!

Aidan fell in serious love with the Fosseen family pets. Morgan did too, which unfortunately reminded us JUST how allergic she is and that she really does have asthma. A night of difficulty breathing=no sleep and lots of worry….
Ryan doing the brotherly duty in the kitchen while I lounged. I like it!
This gaggle makes me smile! Aidan and Cody are really the sweetest buddies, lots and lots and lots of fun!
 Annnnddd more cat time!
Ryan brought the term "locked and loaded" to MI. You are welcome!
Look at these KIDS!!! Love, love, love!!!!

SUMMER 2015...

And what a summer it has been! In July, we pulled of a big surprise for the kids and took them to the Basque Friendly soccer match in Boise. So much fun!

I felt like  a fool in my white and red striped shirt... Who knew I was matching the team's uniform. I looked like a knock off fan, who couldn't quite part with the money to pay for a legitimate fan shirt. Story of my life people!
We could almost see our house-ish!
 Sugar + Morgan= Crazy
 Sugar + Aidan=Deep thoughts
Afterwards, we biked to the Ram to their swanky little patio and in true American style, gorged ourselves. 'Murica!
Things got a little wild late night....
I don't know why Morgan insists riding like a dog, but she does and we let her.
Another golden oldie found when I was putting pictures from eons ago into a photo album. Why ask why?
The road is done, the road is done, the.road.is.DONE!
 Always love our view.....
 And this girl.
Sweet Aidan trying out a new 'do. Hair was buzzed the next day. The end.
Ryan and I took a date night up to Bogus for a ride. It did NOT disappoint. Possibly the best ride I've had all year. It was gorgeous up there, absolutely gorgeous!

Morgan has been wanting to increase her speed, so Mommy/Daughter date at the track it was!
 And then some boat time!
 This gaggle!
I think we may need to set up a tent at Lucky 13....

They are probably happy that we haven't though. Things get a little wild in the Kearney crew...
Keeping things "cool" up at Bogus.

Aidan didn't want to be left out of the jogging fun, so he and I attempted to jog to Grandma Dolly's house for a swim. I can't say we made it the whole way, but I can say it was 95 degrees and this boy is tough and has endurance!!! And cute.
Scientist Sarah thinks that all the good bees are being killed by all the bad bees. Note: If you become a bee massacre-er they will find out and sting you on your nose in Washington state. More to come on that.
The dog days of summer were felt by all...
To say we love this dog would be an incredible understatement.
Looking at these pictures make me realize just how weird we are. Sitting on the new road? Why yes we are.

And again. Who does that? Our neighbors must think we've lost our minds.
Sometimes I send Ryan selfies to let him know how lucky he is. Yes, Ryan, you are one lucky man....
