First soccer fracture...

Poor Morgan had her first soccer fracture! She has had such a great season and we have been beyond proud of her newly acquired skills.
Luckily a very minor buckle fracture and it hasn't slowed her down one bit!

A Bordskey

It used to be a regular occurrence for the Kearneys and Bordners to have slumber parties at each other's homes because really, who wants to end the fun at 8 p.m. when the kids need to sleep? Now that our broods have gotten bigger and schedules more hectic, we hadn't had a good solid Bordney in a while.
The Bordner's have begun a HUGE renovation project and we recently bought Big Pig, our camping trailer and voila, the makings of another Borney overnighter! The night wouldn't have been complete without the Skene's, so we ended up with a Bordskey. The Bordner's have been living in their garage while the remodel is complete. Three kids, one a baby in the garage, no problem!

What Bordskey would be complete without a crazy, costumed girl. (She wasn't this cute at midnight when she would NOT go to sleep... Don't worry, I am plotting my revenge in the form of spoiling rotten her children someday!)

Gary Busey in the garage.

Ladies dress in their best garage living attire!

Before the dog fight. Yes people, what garage party would be complete without a dog fight?  Cody and Byron (normally best of friends) got a little excited about a bone...

And Ryan Skene's leg. No worries, Dr. Ryan was there. Ryan frequently tells us some of the reasons he isn't a doctor, which are typically way off base, but he did do an okay job bandaging his buddy.

Big girl

Stacie is WAY better doing Morgan's than I will ever be and often she'll send me pictures through the day of the kids having fun. This picture made me gasp. Who is this big girl and what did she do with my baby?

Fosseen Family FUN!

We had a fun visit from the Fosseen family before and after their Sun Valley adventure. They were happy to escape the rain of Seattle and we were happy to host!
While driving up our monster hill every day can sometimes be a pain, it is so worth it to have these hikes in our backyard!

Crazy children, just how we like 'em.

Since we typically miss birthday celebrations because of the distance between us, we had an impromptu Zach/Miller/Cody celebration, complete with a pink and blue cake!

Aidan had to get in on it too. I'm pretty sure his wish is that he turns into Anakin from Star Wars (yes, the obsession continues).

Dinner in Big Pig (our new camping trailer!) We'll get those Fosseens camping one day soon!

Living a life of luxury in Big Pig.

Cody and Aidan were HILARIOUS! I love those two sillies. They had so much fun at Morgan's soccer game, shooting everything in sight with their folding chair machine guns.

Who knew there were so many bad guys at Rush soccer?

I felt safer with these two watching my back!

We hit up Wahooz for some laser tag, miniature golf, arcades, go karts and bumper boats. I'm tired thinking about it. We all felt like we'd left Vegas afterwards, eyes dazed from blinking lights, feeling a little grimy and really tired!

 Silly pose.
Very patiently waiting for go-karts. Lesson learned the hard way, teach kids where the brakes are on these things!

Zooming by!

Big smiles and after a really looonnnnggg wait!

Who knew the whole point of this was to get the other people wet? They quickly learned!

Soaking wet. Like Aidan's outfit, yep, still putting together some real treats!
 Easter egg hunting fun!
Running just as fast as he can!

On a mission for sugar.

Cousin time after church and before bike riding downtown!

The Kearneys!

The Kearneys after telling Morgan to sit like a lady. It isn't easy.
Fosseens!

Little boy cuteness!

Blog? I have a blog?

Oy vey, I keep thinking that is there is something that I should be doing but haven't been able to put my finger on just what that was until now, update my poor, sad, neglected blog! It was 82 degrees here today, so I feel a little funny posting skiing pictures, but what to do?
I loved have little babies, I really did (minus the lack of sleep thing anyway), but there is nothing better than having a buddy. Morgan and I were lucky to have a day of ladies skiing while daddy and Aidan stayed in the valley. Special moments with a SUPER special girl!
We were even lucky enough to get some runs in with this little Jeremy Bordner Junior. I love these kids!

More McCall Fun!

We recently spent the weekend up in McCall with the Hef-Glav and Mcbride families! We had such a great time and I am still feeling guilty and full for all of the amazing food that I consumed (and didn't have to do any of the prep). Spending time with this crew can definitely spoil you! Unfortunately not too many pictures were snapped, we were too busy sledding, skiing and playing!

Watch out ladies o' Hearthstone, these two gents are about to hit the hot tubs...

Skiing was COLD and windy. But after a necessary neck gator purchase for a very miserable Morgan, the kids pushed through and had some great runs. It was so much fun to have Morgan join the big girl crew (well Marjorie and I). Aidan on the other hand opted for a little nappy nap in the car with dad while we got just a few more turns in!
These two were so darling together. They were in make believe boy land the entire weekend! We are looking forward to more fun with Wendall in the future!

Jed has now perfected his "kid whispering." I swear, kids just love that guy! Look at them circling him to tell him their latest and greatest!

My dad is 60!!!

Luckily for my family, my brother (and his better half) is king (and she's queen) of planning ahead and arranging some fantastic celebrations! They threw together a surprise party for our dad to ring in 60 years of life. I flew in, sans kids and Ryan to celebrate! A great time was had by all and Papa J. is officially 60. Phew, he makes it look easy, let's hope that's genetic.

Uncle Greg toasting the old guy!

Father and daughter! Happy birthday Dad!!!

Surprise!!! Not really, he squeezed it out of his better half... Stinker.

More toasting! Living with my dad was a fun adventure and full of lots of laughter. I wonder why I like to laugh so much!
