We're finally up and running with the new computer and blogging is back my loyal fans! (And with loyal fans, I mean "my family!")
This picture captures just why I love Idaho so much... Who wouldn't love this Saturday hike right out our front door?
Next year, I'll be a co-leader of Morgan's girl scout troop. This year we are letting Morgan have some independence, but Aidan and I have to be nearby with epi-pen and benadryl in hand.... The joys of food allergic parenting! But Aidan and I do just fine keeping ourselves entertained!
The Daisy Troop!
Kind of a blurry shot of our girl and buddies decorating pumpkin cookies (why egg free of course!)... It only took me two days to get the right shaped Pumpkin. Oh Martha Stewart, you make me puke with how easy you make this stuff look.
The Sillybands (Abby, Megan, Anna, Faith, Halle, Morgan, Jane)! Morgan had her last soccer game on Saturday. Up until the last game, the Sillybands had had the opposite of an undefeated season. Morgan informed me before the game, that the Sillybands were definitely going to win and that this was a Championship game. She explained that this is ALWAYS what happens in the movies, therefore it was a no-brainer. The Sillybands and Morgan had their best game of the season and finally got a W! Hurray!
Aidan played hooky from preschool to have some extra time with mom. Jammies all day and playing with diggers, what could be better?
As you can see, we got a little stir crazy by the end of the day... What to do? What to do? Oh I know, beards.
I have it all figured out. Indoor playplace + playdate with Ryder B.=Mommy gets paperwork done. Everyone wins!
It's too bad Ryder is nothing like his father! Ha!
King of the world!
Morgan's school had a Scarecrow Stroll at the Botanical Gardens. While Aidan has already worn through his costume, it was nice for Morgan to have an additional reason to put on the costume before the big holiday!Daddy dressed up like Jim from Dundler Mifflin.

Sometimes it just is necessary to wear part of your pirate headband to run some errands with mom.Aidan played hooky from preschool to have some extra time with mom. Jammies all day and playing with diggers, what could be better?

What you won't find pictures of in our blog are pictures from the 3rd Annual Walk for Food Allergy. Guilty conscience for me that I didn't a stinking thing for it this year in terms of planning, but we still went to show support for a cause that is so near and dear to us. Unfortunately, Morgan literally had a panic attack when she saw that there was a costume wolf there, representing the Idaho Stampede. Ryan and I have constantly been bewildered and beside ourselves as to how scared Morgan can get over such seemingly harmless things. It hit me yesterday and I was preparing for Morgan's girl scout pumpkin decorating event. I found myself on the verge of tears, filled with anxiety over whether or not I should bring candy corn. (Morgan is allergic). What if someone touches them, then touches her "safe" things, then she eats it and her throat closes. What if I don't notice and it's too late for the epi-pen to work. So many scary thoughts for an adult to handle. How is a 7 year old, whose reality is that a cookie or a bagel could close her throat supposed to handle this? No wonder seemingly harmless things put the little girl into a tail-spin... Maybe because seemingly harmless things could irreparably harm her...
